Sarumaru Yataro, nicknamed "Saru" is an average high school boy who daydreams about idols but otherwise has no luck with girls. While working at his fathers locksmithing business, Saru uses his genius-like lock picking skills to take on dangerous cases.

Like the previous specials, "Koi no Karasawagi: Love Stories VI" will consist of three stories. The first is "Rival no Onna," starring Yu Yamada (25) as an unsuccessful entertainer who fights with a friend over a handsome actor.

In the second story, titled "Kyouso to Yobareta Onna," Yu Kashii (22) plays a nail stylist who mistakenly believes that the stares she receives are due to her beautiful face, rather than her oversized body. Using special costuming and makeup, her character will appear to weigh about 100 kilograms.

The last story, "Tsukusu Onna," stars Mitsuki Tanimura (19) as a woman who devotes herself to an ace baseball pitcher that has fallen into a slump.

His daughter, Yuka (Tanimura Mitsuki) is at the period of adolescence. She is confused by the accusation of the high school student who is the same age as herself, and resentful of her father. A story about a temporary-staff worker who finds refuge in the fantasy world of a comic, Rose of Versailles. Katsuko's mediocre days is put to an end when the son of her company president arrives at her office and lays out unreasonable a cost-cutting policy which upsets Katsuko. Her inner ear hears the voice of Oscar, the main character of "Rose of Versailles" who stands up for the people, and decides to take action against him to save her helpless colleagues. --NHK

Yamada plays junior high school student Ainosuke Tanaka. He receives a corneal transplant in his left eye from his dead older brother (Yokoyama Yuu), who was a researcher. Because of that eye, he begins seeing strange visions hinting at a crime, possibly related to his brother's death. While searching for the truth, he becomes involved in a major case.
